Carnival in Salvador happens in February, the planet’s largest street party. Carnival transforms the city into a gigantic walkway, where big national and international music stars parade in a wide variety of dancing groups.

The different party scenes include everything from traditional Pelourinho brass bands to the electric sound wagons from the Dodô circuit, pleasing all the partygoers. All in all, there are 25 kilometers of roads and streets taken over by more than 2 million people infected with nonstop happiness.
